The Asociación Enfermos de Kennedy España (ASEK-E) is a non-profit entity with its own legal personality and full legal capacity to act, established in accordance with Organic Law 1/2002, of 22 March.
3. Purpose and objectives
In accordance with its Bylaws (Chapter I, Articles 1 to 5), the Association has, among others, the following purposes:
- Defending the rights of individuals affected by X-linked bulbospinal muscular atrophy (Kennedy’s Disease).
- Promoting scientific research.
- Raising social and institutional awareness.
- Improving the quality of life of affected individuals and their families.
- Promoting legislative and healthcare measures favorable to rare diseases.
- Providing information, guidance, and support.
4. Conditions of use of the website
Access to and use of this website confers the status of user and implies full and unreserved acceptance of the provisions contained in this Legal Notice.
